Key Result Areas
Safety • Identify and re-engineer processes for safe working conditions • Benchmark best practices in equipment for creating safe processes and systems • Review and monitor implementation of safety standards • Participate in review meetings/safety enquiry committee in case of accidents/near misses
Process Optimization • Formulate, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures across all equipment and processes • Setup technical process parameters and equipment programming for various cycle components • Build capability towards institutionalizing plant and equipment practices • Analyze and evaluate gaps in processes and recommend corrective actions
Quality Assurance • Ensure processes deliver quality requirements as per global standards and customer requirements • Support new product establishment in process, testing, and qualification • Partner with lead component design engineer for new component development and process creation • Participate in compliance with company quality assurance policies and established standards, such as ISO 14000, 9000, SEDEX, etc.
Cost Management • Optimize processes to reduce costs • Work on automation and optimization for faster cycle time and lesser production cost • Track process time and respective cost impact on components
Customer Satisfaction • Improve product quality through process improvement based on customer feedback • Collaborate with customers and O&M team for internal audits and product qualification of customers and auditors
People Development • Build capacity (knowledge, skill, and attitude) of O&M team and peers • Keep abreast with latest in process/technologies in manufacturing • Groom programming engineers to ensure smooth equipment operations and improvement in utilization • Foster a culture of Shilim and ALERT behaviors
Equipment Maintenance • Partner with O&M team to ensure smooth operations and production targets • Implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment • Monitor equipment performance and address issues promptly
Innovation and Continuous Improvement • Encourage innovative solutions for process improvement • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in manufacturing processes
