Personal Assistant to the Managing Director (MD)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and trustworthy Personal Assistant to the Managing Director (MD) to provide executive-level administrative and operational support. The ideal candidate will manage the MD's schedule, coordinate meetings, handle confidential information, follow up on key initiatives, and ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day business activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the MD's calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel schedules.
- Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings, conferences, and events.
- Prepare agendas, presentations, meeting minutes (MoM), and follow-up action trackers.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft professional emails, letters, reports, and business correspondence.
- Monitor and follow up on tasks assigned by the MD to various departments.
- Maintain confidential files, documents, and records with the highest level of discretion.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure timely completion of strategic initiatives.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for management review.
- Screen calls, prioritize communications, and manage incoming requests efficiently.
- Assist the MD in business planning, project coordination, and special assignments.
- Perform other executive administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
- MBA or Executive Assistant certification is an added advantage.
- 5–10 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Executive Secretary supporting senior management.
- Experience in the education sector or corporate environment is preferred.
