Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Rebar Detailer with strong expertise in CADSRC/RebarCAD to prepare accurate reinforcement shop drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for GCC building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have experience interpreting structural drawings, applying international codes and standards, and delivering high-quality detailing within project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed rebar shop drawings and reinforcement placement drawings using CADSRC.
- Generate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for RCC structures.
- Detail reinforcement for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, staircases, retaining walls, and other structural elements.
- Review structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and revisions.
- Identify drawing conflicts, missing information, and constructability issues.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, and clients for technical clarifications.
- Ensure detailing complies with GCC project requirements and relevant codes (BS, ACI, ASTM, IS, etc.).
- Maintain drawing quality, accuracy, and timely project delivery.
- Support quantity take-offs and reinforcement estimation when required.
- Incorporate client comments and project revisions into final drawings.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3–8 years of Rebar Detailing experience.
- Strong proficiency in CADSRC, RebarCAD, AutoCAD, or similar detailing software.
- Experience working on GCC/UAE/Saudi/Oman/Qatar projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of RCC detailing principles and reinforcement standards.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in building, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of BS 8666, BS 8110, ACI, and GCC construction standards.
- Experience in BIM/Revit or Tekla Structures is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
