Job Summary
YoCharge is looking for a skilled and field-oriented Site Assessment & Installation Engineer (Electrician) who will be responsible for the complete execution of EV charger deployment projects—from conducting technical site surveys to installing, commissioning, and handing over EV charging stations.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of electrical systems, industrial wiring, DG integration, panel installations, and electrical safety practices. The role involves frequent travel to customer locations across India.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Survey & Technical Assessment:
- Conduct detailed electrical site surveys before installation.
- Assess electrical infrastructure and installation feasibility.
- Measure the distance between the electrical source and the proposed charger location.
- Verify available electrical load and spare capacity.
- Inspect LT panels, distribution boards, and protection devices.
- Verify single-phase/three-phase supply availability.
- Check transformer capacity (where applicable).
- Assess earthing system and verify earthing quality.
- Inspect DG (Diesel Generator) availability, capacity, and wiring.
- Verify AMF/ATS panel availability for DG integration.
- Estimate cable routing, cable length, conduit requirements, and trenching work.
- Identify civil work requirements.
- Assess internet connectivity (Wi-Fi/LAN/4G).
- Capture site photographs and prepare a detailed site assessment report.
- Coordinate with the Project Team for execution planning.
Qualifications
- ITI (Electrician) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical License (Preferred).
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical installations, industrial maintenance, or EV charging infrastructure.
- Experience in EV charger installation, solar EPC, industrial electrical projects, or facility maintenance is preferred.
Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
