Job Title: Accountant (Manufacturing)
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience to manage our plant/factory accounts. The ideal candidate will be independently responsible for Tally, handling GST compliances, generating e-way bills, and managing plant-level financial documentation using Tally ERP 9.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tally & Daily Accounting
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate daily accounting records in Tally (including purchase vouchers, sales invoices, receipts, and journal entries).
- Vendor & Debtor Management: Track accounts payable and receivable; follow up on aging debtors and process vendor payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular monthly bank reconciliations (BRS) and cash book maintenance.
2. GST & Statutory Compliance
- GST Filing Support: Prepare data for monthly GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B) and perform regular reconciliation of input tax credit (GSTR-2B).
- E-Way Bills & E-Invoicing: Generate accurate daily E-Way bills and E-invoices for outbound manufacturing shipments.
- TDS: Assist in the deduction, deposit, and preparation of basic data for TDS returns.
3. Financial Documentation & Excel
- Excel Reports: Maintain inventory sheets, production trackers, and basic financial MIS reports using MS Excel (Formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Stock Reconciliation: Coordinate with the store/production team to reconcile physical raw material and finished goods stock with Tally records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of solid accounting experience (Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a manufacturing company).
- Software: Strong practical working knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP 9 and MS Excel.
- Education: B.Com or any equivalent degree in accounting.
- Core Skills: Clear understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, manufacturing journal vouchers, and basic Indian taxation laws (GST & TDS).
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
