FELLOW - ANALYST
Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Fund Management Corporation Limited (TNIFMC) is a SEBI regulated Alternative Investments Funds (AIF) manager, set up by the Government of Tamil Nadu along with leading financial institutions. TNIFMC manages focused AIFs in key sectors of the economy.
TNIFMC is looking to engage a Fellow - Analyst for the funds under management. The position will be based out of Chennai and will report to the Fund Manager / Principal.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Undertake research work in the sectors mentioned above to build a pipeline of potential investment opportunities
2. Perform in-depth due diligence on the identified investment opportunities.
3. Draft proposals for approval of the Investment Committee.
4. Assist in any other work assigned by the Fund Manager.
Terms
1. The Fellow position is for a duration of one year and may be extended based on the need.
2. The Fellow will be paid a fixed remuneration of Rs. 75,000/month.
Desired Profile
1. MBA in Finance from a premier institute; undergraduate degree in Engineering/Science is required.
2. 1 -3 years of experience in financial modelling and investment analysis.
3. Strong research and analytical skills.
4. Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize, deal with frequent and unexpected changes, and work within tight timeframes.
5. Presentation skills with ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, articulate issues and recommend solutions.
6. Experience in energy/infra/EV sector/ Aerospace & Defense / Climate & Agri Tech/ Healthcare / Digital platforms / AI/ML / Advanced Manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
7. Basic communication skills in Tamil is desirable.
