We're looking for a UI/UX Designer who can turn genuinely complex workflows — risk registers, audit trails, compliance mapping, multi-role dashboards — into interfaces that feel simple. You'll own design end-to-end: from user research and wireframes to polished, developer-ready UI, working closely with our product and engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end user flows — dashboards, data tables, forms, reporting views, and admin panels
- Translate complex compliance/risk workflows into intuitive, low-friction UI for non-technical business users
- Build and maintain a scalable design system/component library in Figma for consistency across both products
- Conduct lightweight user research (customer calls, usability testing) and translate findings into design decisions
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for stakeholder review and dev handoff
- Collaborate directly with founders, PMs, and developers in a fast iteration loop — this is not a "hand off a Figma file and disappear" role
- Apply accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design standards across web and tablet views
- Use AI-assisted design tools (Figma AI, Claude Design, or similar) to accelerate prototyping and exploration where useful
Must-Haves
- 2–5 years of UI/UX design experience, with at least one B2B/SaaS or enterprise dashboard product in your portfolio
- Strong proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, and design tokens
- Demonstrated ability to design for data-dense interfaces — tables, filters, multi-step forms, role-based views — not just marketing pages
- A portfolio showing your process (problem → exploration → outcome), not just final screens
- Comfort working directly with engineers on implementation feasibility and pixel-level QA
- Solid grasp of usability heuristics, information architecture, and interaction design fundamentals
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior exposure to GRC, compliance, audit, fintech, or other regulated/enterprise software domains
- Basic front-end literacy (HTML/CSS, or enough to have real conversations with developers about constraints)
- Experience running or contributing to user research/usability testing
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design or coding tools (Figma AI, Claude, v0, Cursor) as part of your workflow
