The DAV Group - Chennai, was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over 40,000 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. In addition to K-12 schooling, DAV has recently ventured into Higher Education with DAV-SMK Fomra College of Arts & Science at Kelambakkam, Chennai.
In this context,We are looking for a passionate and dedicated TGT2 English Teacher to handle English for Classes 8, 9, and 10 at G.B. Public School. The candidate should be able to strengthen students’ language, grammar, reading, and writing skills through interactive teaching methods.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in English or related subject
- B.Ed. is mandatory
- Prior teaching experience in middle/high school is preferred
Job Description
- Teach English for Classes 8, 9, and 10
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment materials
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and grammar skills
- Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and parent interactions
- Follow school policies and academic guidelines effectively
Salary shall commensurate with experience.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
