Position: Accounts Executive / GST Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Record purchase, sales, payment, and receipt entries in Zoho Books.
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.).
- Perform GST reconciliation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Handle bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Generate MIS reports and financial statements as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 1–5 years of accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of GST compliance and return filing.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (mandatory/preferred).
- Good understanding of TDS, bank reconciliation, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Tiruvalla, Kerala (Tiruvalla, Pathanamthitta District): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
