Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Team Lead / Senior US IT Recruiter to drive our talent acquisition efforts for the US market. In this role, you will split your time between hands-on full-lifecycle recruiting for critical positions and leading, mentoring, and managing a team of US IT recruiters.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of US hiring tracks (W2, C2C, 1099), visa types (H1B, L1, OPT, GC, USC), and a proven track record of hitting delivery targets while keeping a team motivated in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Delivery Management
- Mentor & Lead: Guide, train, and motivate a team of US IT recruiters to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly placement targets.
- Job Distribution: Analyze incoming job orders (VMS/MSP portals or direct clients), prioritize requirements, and allocate them strategically across the team.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct daily stand-ups and weekly reviews to track team pipelines, submittals, interviews, and closures. Identify bottlenecks and provide real-time coaching.
- Quality Control: Review team resumes/profiles before submission to ensure high compliance, technical alignment, and professional formatting.
Hands-On Senior Recruitment
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, interview, and close high-caliber IT professionals for niche and volume US positions (Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Permanent).
- Advanced Sourcing: Utilize Job Boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder), LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, X-ray searches, and internal databases to find passive talent.
- Tax Term & Visa Expertise: Screen candidates thoroughly on tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099) and US work authorizations (H1B, Green Card, US Citizen, TN, EAD).
- Negotiation & Closing: Handle salary/hourly rate negotiations, counter-offers, onboarding paperwork coordination, and continuous candidate engagement until the start date.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Requirement Analysis: Partner with Account Managers / Clients to understand technical requirements, company culture, and hiring managers' expectations.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on US market trends, prevailing compensation rates, and talent availability to advise internal stakeholders on realistic timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of core experience in US IT Recruitment, with a minimum of 1 year leading a team.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of various IT domains (e.g., Software Development, Cloud/DevOps, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Project Management, ERP, Infrastructure).
- US Compliance Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of US tax terms (C2C, W2, 1099) and immigration/visa rules.
- Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with major ATS/CRM systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Ceipal, JobDiva), VMS portals, and job boards.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; ability to build rapport with native US candidates.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
