Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing project bills, quantity estimation, BOQ verification, contractor billing, and ensuring accurate project cost tracking. The candidate should have strong knowledge of civil construction billing processes and excellent coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify client bills, contractor bills, and subcontractor bills
- Measure quantities as per drawings and site execution
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and rate analysis
- Track project progress and prepare running bills
- Verify work completed at site for billing purposes
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and accounts team
- Maintain billing records, documentation, and project reports
- Ensure billing is done accurately as per contract terms and timelines
- Assist in cost estimation and budget monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 2–3 years of experience in billing and quantity estimation
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis
- Understanding of construction drawings and site execution
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Experience in residential/commercial projects is preferred
