As a Data Architect, a typical day involves defining the data requirements and designing the structure necessary for the application. This role includes modeling the data architecture, planning how data will be stored efficiently, and ensuring seamless integration across various systems. The position requires a thoughtful approach to organizing data to support application functionality and scalability, collaborating with different teams to align data strategies with project goals, and continuously refining data models to meet evolving needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data architecture aligns with business objectives.
- Maintain and update documentation related to data models and integration processes.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on data architecture best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Collibra Data Governance.
- Experience in designing and implementing data models that support application requirements.
- Strong understanding of data storage solutions and integration techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex data flows and optimize data architecture for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and their application within enterprise environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Collibra Data Governance.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
