About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Collection Manager to lead the collections function for our Auto Loan portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reducing delinquency, maximizing recoveries, managing field collection teams and agencies, and ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines while delivering a customer-centric recovery experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end collections for the Auto Loan portfolio across assigned regions.
- Drive collection performance across all delinquency buckets (0–30, 31–60, 61–90, 90+ DPD).
- Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce portfolio delinquency.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor field collection executives and tele-calling teams to achieve monthly recovery targets.
- Appoint, manage, and evaluate collection agencies, repossession vendors, and legal recovery partners.
- Handle high-value delinquent accounts, escalations, settlements, and repossession cases.
- Coordinate with Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, and Legal teams for smooth recovery operations.
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, fair collection practices, and company policies.
- Monitor daily collection MIS, agency productivity, roll rates, and recovery trends, taking corrective actions where required.
- Conduct regular field visits, agency audits, and performance reviews.
- Ensure timely repossession, auction coordination, and post-recovery documentation where applicable.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Auto Loan collections, repossession, and recovery processes.
- Experience managing field collections and agency operations.
- Good understanding of loan delinquency management and bucket-wise collection strategies.
- Knowledge of RBI collection guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and collection management systems.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and team leadership abilities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in Auto Loan Collections with a FinTech, NBFC, or Bank.
- Experience in handling secured vehicle loan portfolios is mandatory.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
