Recruiting Manager – US Recruitment (Hands-On)

Location: India (Bangalore / Hyderabad / Noida/Delhi or other ICS location) - Remote

Shift: EST hours (US Recruitment Shift) — typically evening/night shift IST

Job Summary

ICS is seeking a hands-on Recruiting Manager based in India to both lead a team of recruiters and personally source, screen, and close candidates for US-based technology requirements. This is a player-coach role: alongside managing the team, the person will carry their own requisitions and directly engage candidates and clients. The role operates during EST hours to align with US hiring managers, clients, and delivery teams, and owns recruiting strategy, team performance, and outreach effectiveness across ICS's core practice areas — digital engineering, cloud, AI-enabled transformation, and application development.

Key Responsibilities

Personally own and work a portfolio of open requisitions end-to-end — sourcing, screening, submitting, and closing candidates — in addition to managing the team (hands-on, player-coach role)

Manage, coach, and develop a team of US recruiters/sources operating on EST hours from India

Own recruiting metrics for US requisitions: time-to-fill, submission-to-interview ratio, offer-acceptance rate, and pipeline health

Partner directly with US-based hiring managers, account managers, and delivery leads to understanding role requirements and align sourcing strategy

Make cold calls and conduct candidate outreach directly during peak hiring periods or on critical/urgent requisitions

Develop and refine cold-calling scripts, email templates, and outreach cadences for engaging US technology candidates (W2, C2C, 1099)

Build sourcing strategy across US-focused channels: Dice, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster, ATS/CRM databases, referrals

Ensure team understanding of US work authorization types (H1B, GC, OPT/CPT, US Citizen) and visa/tax term nuances (W2, C2C, 1099)

Review and approve candidate submissions before presenting to US hiring managers or clients

Monitor recruiter productivity and pipeline volume across the EST shift; rebalance requisitions as needed

Ensure compliance with US employment/EEO guidelines as applicable to submissions and outreach

Report recruiting KPIs to US-based TA leadership and recommend process/tooling improvements

Act as the primary India-based point of contact for US stakeholders during EST working hours

Coordinate with global ICS recruiting teams to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent candidate experience

Required Qualifications

10+ years of full-cycle US technical recruiting experience (mandatory), with demonstrated hands-on sourcing/closing — not purely oversight

4+ years in a recruiting team lead or management role, managing US-shift recruiters, while remaining actively involved in day-to-day recruiting

Strong working knowledge of US employment types: W2, C2C, 1099, and visa categories (H1B, GC, OPT, CPT, USC)

Willingness and ability to work EST hours from India (night shift)

Strong command of US sourcing tools (Dice, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, ATS/CRM

Proven track record hitting time-to-fill and quality-of-hire targets for US clients, both personally and as a team leader

Excellent verbal communication skills suited for US client/candidate interaction, including comfort with high-volume cold calling

Experience in IT staffing serving US clients strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Experience recruiting for digital engineering, cloud, AI/ML, or application development roles for US clients

Familiarity with US tax terms, corp-to-corp vendor management, and immigration basics (H1B transfer, GC processing)

Experience recruiting for telecom, healthcare, banking, media, or hi-tech verticals

Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business, or related field
