JOB DESCRIPTION – DESIGN ENGINEER
Position: Design Engineer – Elevator Industry
Department: Engineering / Design
Experience: Minimum 3–4 Years
Industry: Elevator / Lift Manufacturing
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop elevator mechanical components and assemblies.
- Prepare 2D & 3D drawings, GA drawings and BOM.
- Hands-on experience in Car Frame, Cabin Structure, Car Door / Landing Door and Machine Mounting design.
- Prepare basic engineering calculations and ensure structural strength and design accuracy.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and Installation teams.
- Resolve manufacturing and site-related design issues.
- Modify and improve designs as per technical and site requirements.
- Ensure designs are cost-effective, manufacturable and as per company standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Elevator Mechanical Design.
- AutoCAD and SolidWorks/Creo/Inventor knowledge.
- Good knowledge of fabrication, sheet metal and structural design.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant Elevator Industry experience is mandatory.
