The main job roles and responsibilities of a Mobile Technician include:
- Diagnose hardware and software issues in mobile phones and tablets.
- Repair or replace damaged components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, speakers, microphones, and cameras.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot mobile operating systems (Android/iOS).
- Perform software flashing, unlocking, and data backup/restoration where authorized.
- Test devices after repair to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain repair tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
- Explain repair issues, costs, and solutions to customers.
- Provide preventive maintenance advice and proper device care.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and customer information.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures during repairs.
- Stay updated with the latest mobile technologies, repair techniques, and new device models.
- Ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction while meeting repair turnaround times.
