Job Description (JD) – Assistant Professor (Physics)
Position: Assistant Professor – Physics
Key Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate Physics courses.
Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, assignments, and study materials.
Conduct laboratory practicals and ensure proper maintenance of lab equipment.
Assess student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
Mentor and guide students in academic and research activities.
Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
Conduct research, publish scholarly papers, and attend seminars/conferences.
Assist in examination duties, admissions, accreditation, and other institutional activities.
Maintain academic records and submit reports as required.
Qualification:
M.Sc. in Physics with required academic credentials.
NET/SET qualification preferred or as per UGC/AICTE norms.
Ph.D. in Physics preferred.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of Physics concepts and applications.
Excellent communication and teaching skills.
Research and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in handling laboratory instruments and experiments.
Ability to mentor and motivate students.
Experience:
Freshers or candidates with relevant teaching/research experience as per institutional requirements.
