Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team and
contribute to the growth of our compostable polymer products, including PBAT,
PLA, and compostable compounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical
background in polymers, an understanding of sustainable materials, and a passion
for driving sales in an emerging market
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the compostable polymer
market.
- Drive sales growth by promoting PBAT, PLA, and customized compound
solutions to target customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
2. Technical Support:
- Leverage polymer science knowledge to educate clients on product features,
applications, and technical advantages.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to address customer-specific
requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations as needed
3. Day-to-Day Operations:
- Handle day-to-day sales activities, including managing client inquiries,
quotations, negotiations, and order fulfilment.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and documentation for internal and external
stakeholders.
4. Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, and logistics) to
ensure customer satisfaction and product delivery timelines.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the
product portfolio.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of compostable polymers such as PBAT, PLA, and polymeric compounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and pursue business opportunities independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Polymer Science or a related field.
- Up to 3 years of experience in technical sales, product management, or business development (fresh graduates with relevant education may also apply).
- Familiarity with compostable materials, sustainability trends, and their industrial applications is a plus.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
