TSE-Water Business is seeking a dynamic Sr. Officer/Officer Engineering Projects- to handle our ongoing Water & Wastewater EPC projects PAN India. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of technical mastery from water and wastewater sector. You will be part of the Engineering & Constructions SBU lifecycle from the initial Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) to final handover, ensuring engineering items are procured and delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest engineering standards.

About the Role
TSE-Water Business is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Officer/Officer – Engineering Projects (Procurement & Supply Chain) to join our Water & Wastewater EPC division. This is a high-impact role where you will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for large-scale engineering projects across India.
You will be a core part of the Business Unit (BU) from the initial Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) through to final project handover. We are looking for a professional who combines technical mastery of the water sector with excellence in vendor development, commercial negotiation, and materials management.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Procurement & Planning

Manage the PR to PO (Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order) process for process equipment and "bought-out" items.

Execute complete planning and procurement of engineering components, ensuring they meet project timelines and budget constraints.

Create Material Reservations and Unit Material Costs (UMC) for requested project supplies.
2. Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

Float inquiries, prepare comprehensive bid inquiry documents, and evaluate technical/commercial bids.

Conduct price comparisons (CSB) and lead negotiations with suppliers to finalize orders within budgeted costs.

Drive Vendor Development initiatives to expand our network of reliable, high-quality engineering partners.
3. Operational Execution (ERP & Logistics)

Generate Purchase Orders (PO), Work Orders (WO), Delivery Orders, and necessary amendments within the ERP system.

Process Service Entry Sheets (SES), Goods Issues (GI), and Invoice Verification (IV).

Handle the issuance of Online Road Permits and ensure seamless logistics and supply chain flow to project sites.
4. Commercial & Financial Administration

Prepare and manage Contract Agreements and Sanction Requests (SR).

Monitor vendor payments, process expense bills, and coordinate closely with the Accounts department.

Ensure all commercial documentation is audit-ready and compliant with company standards.
5. Project MIS & Reporting

Maintain extensive MIS reports, tracking procurement progress, delivery schedules, and cost variations.

Contribute to Knowledge Management and provide training within the procurement function as needed.

Support Senior Management in project-related tasks and administrative oversight.
Required Qualifications & Skills
-
Sector Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Water and Wastewater EPC sector is mandatory.

Functional Mastery: Proven experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchase, and Inventory Management.

ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics) for procurement and material management.

Technical Skills: Ability to review engineering bid documents and understand process equipment specifications.

Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management and account processing.

Travel: Readiness to handle project requirements PAN India.
