Freelance SEO Content Writer – Legal, Compliance & Business Services
LegalBabu Corporate Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Freelance SEO Content Writer to create and publish high-quality, SEO-friendly content for our website, LegalBabu.com.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SEO, experience with WordPress, and the ability to understand and simplify topics related to business services, legal/compliance requirements, taxation, licences, registrations, government procedures and professional services.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and write original, informative and SEO-friendly blog articles based on topics provided by us.
- Understand the search intent and create user-friendly content that is easy to read and useful to the target audience.
- Follow current on-page SEO requirements, including:
- Keyword placement and search intent
- SEO title and meta description
- Proper heading structure (H1, H2, H3)
- Internal linking
- External/reference links wherever appropriate
- Image/alt-text recommendations
- Readability and content structure
- Publish and properly format the completed articles directly on WordPress.
- Ensure articles are grammatically correct, factually accurate, well-structured and free from plagiarism.
- Update or improve existing articles when required.
- Follow the reference documents, PDFs, government notifications, circulars or other source material provided for each topic.
- Select an appropriate word count based on the complexity and search intent of each topic rather than unnecessarily increasing the length.

Reference Material
For each assigned topic, we will provide relevant reference documents/PDFs and other source material wherever required.
The writer will be expected to understand the material, conduct additional research where necessary, and convert it into original, reader-friendly and SEO-optimised content.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in SEO content writing
- Good understanding of current SEO practices
- Hands-on experience with WordPress publishing
- Excellent English writing and editing skills
- Ability to research technical/legal/business topics and explain them in simple language
- Understanding of Google search intent and helpful-content principles
- Ability to write original content based on reference documents without simply copying or paraphrasing them
- Knowledge of basic HTML/WordPress formatting will be an advantage
Preferred Experience
Experience writing for websites related to legal services, taxation, compliance, licensing, registration, corporate services, finance or other professional services will be highly preferred.
Important – Portfolio Required
If you have previously written SEO-friendly content for business, compliance, taxation, licensing, registration or similar professional-service websites, please share the live URLs of your published articles.
Where possible, please also share articles that are currently ranking on Google and mention the relevant keyword/search term.
Payment
This is a freelance, per-article assignment.
Please mention your expected fee per completed blog/article, including:
- Content research and writing
- SEO optimisation
- WordPress formatting and publishing
- Meta title and meta description
- Basic internal/external linking
- Final proofreading
The word count will be decided appropriately for each topic based on the subject, competition and search intent.
