We are seeking a skilled and experienced VMC Milling Operator to operate and maintain vertical machining centers for precision metal component manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate VMC machines according to job orders, drawings, and specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
- Perform machine setup including tool selection, workpiece alignment, and fixture placement.
- Input and adjust CNC programs (G-code/M-code) as required.
- Monitor machining operations and make real-time adjustments to ensure product quality.
- Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and report any mechanical or quality problems.
- Ensure production targets, safety standards, and quality guidelines are met.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance.
Requirements:
- Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade.
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in VMC milling operations.
- Skills:
- Proficient in operating FANUC/Siemens/Mitsubishi control systems.
- Familiar with tool offsets, cutting speeds, and feeds.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming is an advantage.
Pay: ₹9,920.16 - ₹29,413.06 per month
