Designation: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Good knowledge of gearbox, and Hydraulic and Pneumatics
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic faults efficiently.
- Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery.
- Monitor machine performance and work towards improving efficiency and reducing downtime.
- Maintain proper maintenance logs, reports, and equipment history records.
- Ensure availability and management of critical spare parts and tools.
- Coordinate with the production team to plan maintenance activities without affecting output.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, GMP, and hygiene requirements in a food packaging environment.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide basic training to machine operators for routine maintenance and safe handling.
- Handle emergency breakdowns and ensure quick resolution to avoid production loss.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment (packaging preferred).
Skills Required:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of packaging machinery
- Basic understanding of PLC and automation systems
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in shifts if required

Working Conditions:

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
