Snowflake developer with Cortex, Data Engineering and Data Science:
We are looking for dynamic and result-oriented Snowflake cloud DW-ETL developers to join our fast-growing Cloud Analytics practice.
Candidate should be self-starters with a passion for business analytics and Data and use their excellent problem solving and analytical skills along with superb written and oral communication skills to develop solutions that delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand existing landscape and business objectives of the customers.
Translate their explicit and implicit requirements into optimal, scalable, high-performance Cloud DW solution.
Modify existing solutions to enhance, optimize, or to incorporate new functionality.
Ensure high quality of deliverables from self and team.
Provide candid, meaningful feedback and regular progress updates to the team and customer.
Explore how the world of data has evolved and how the advent of cloud technologies is providing new opportunities for businesses to explore.
Learn the various data platform technologies that are available, and how to take advantage of the available technologies for organizational benefit.
Contribute to presales activities including proposals, POC and Demos.
Experience & Requirements:
5-10 years of professional work experience with at least 4 years working on a Datawarehouse and ETL development
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting highly scalable data warehouse solutions.
Hands-on experience on development and support of Datawarehouses and interaction with Data Lakes
Should have experience with Cortex, Data science, and Data Engineering.
Should be able to perform data-related tasks and analysis in Snowflake cloud DW; Snowpro certification is preferred.
Expertise on Snowflake: Pipes, Snowpipe, SQS Notifications, Stored Procedures, Views, Streams Tasks, and Javascript.
Must possess excellent programming skills with SQL. Having Python skills is a plus.
Experience using Code/Version management tools, Azure DevOps preferred.
Working experience in AWS - S3 or Azure datalake as the staging area for Snowflake
Experience with ETL/ELT development Tools viz. Talend/Informatica or any other leading ETL tool
Well versed with relational databases, nonrelational databases, data streams, and file stores
Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and meet data requirements.
Good to have experience in reporting tools like Tableau/PowerBI.
Possess excellent communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology – requirements gathering, design, build/test and deploy (Agile methodology preferable).
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
