Braga Industries LLP is looking for enthusiastic and motivated ITI/DME candidates to join our CNC Machining Division as Trainees. Selected candidates will receive hands-on training and practical exposure in operating advanced CNC machines used for precision manufacturing.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines under the guidance of senior operators and supervisors.
- Work on the following machines:
- Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL)
- 3-Axis CNC Machines
- 5-Axis CNC Machines
- LANG Engraving Machines
- MAZAK CNC Machines
- EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Machines
- Gouging Machines
- Assist in machine setup, tool loading, and workpiece clamping.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Perform machine operation as per production requirements.
- Carry out dimensional inspection using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure components meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality systems, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and workplace housekeeping (5S).
- Report machine abnormalities, breakdowns, or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain production records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Candidates with basic CNC programming knowledge will have an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining.
- Knowledge of CNC programming is preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
- Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and teamwork.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
