Factory Manager – Daily Care Private Limited
Position Overview
Daily Care Private Limited is looking for an experienced and process-driven Factory Manager to oversee end-to-end factory operations. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, quality control, inventory coordination, maintenance, compliance, cost control, and timely dispatch of finished goods.
The Factory Manager should ensure that production targets are achieved without compromising product quality, safety, statutory compliance, or operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day factory operations and ensure smooth production.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and pending orders.
· Ensure the timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, and manpower.
· Coordinate with Procurement, Inventory, Quality, Accounts, Sales, and Supply Chain teams.
· Ensure there is no production delay due to shortages of raw materials or packaging materials.
· Monitor production output, rejection, wastage, downtime, productivity, and capacity utilisation.
· Maintain proper inventory control for raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
· Ensure compliance with quality standards, factory regulations, labour laws, fire safety, hygiene, and other statutory requirements.
· Implement SOPs for production, quality, maintenance, material handling, safety, and dispatch.
· Conduct regular production and quality review meetings with the concerned departments.
· Ensure preventive maintenance of machinery and minimise breakdowns.
· Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.
· Ensure proper batch records, production records, quality documents, inward registers, and dispatch records.
· Investigate production delays, quality complaints, shortages, and process failures, and implement corrective actions.
· Manage factory employees, supervisors, contractors, and workers.
· Define KRAs and productivity targets for the production team.
· Maintain discipline, attendance, shift planning, and manpower utilisation.
· Provide regular MIS reports to management covering production, pending orders, material availability, wastage, quality, maintenance, and manpower.
· Ensure finished goods are produced and dispatched as per the agreed timelines.
· Take ownership of overall factory performance and promptly escalate critical risks to management.

Preferred Candidate Profile
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production, Operations, Manufacturing or a related field.
· MBA or postgraduate qualification in Operations or Supply Chain Management would be an advantage.
· Minimum 8–12 years of experience in factory or manufacturing operations.
· At least 3–5 years of experience in a factory leadership or plant management role.
· Experience in FMCG, personal care, cosmetics, food, consumer goods, or a similar manufacturing industry would be preferred.
· Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, quality systems, maintenance, compliance, and manpower management.
· Familiarity with ERP systems and production MIS. (SAP knowledge preferred)
· Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
The candidate should be willing to work from the factory location and take complete ownership of operations
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
