- Role: Automation Test Engineer / QA Automation Engineer

- Core Goal: Design, build, and run automated tests to check software quality before it reaches users
Key Responsibilities
- Script Creation: Write clear, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts using programming languages like Java, C#, or Python.
- Framework Maintenance: Update and fix existing automation scripts when user interfaces or element locators change.
- Test Execution: Run functional, regression, and integration test suites and analyze the results.
- API & Database Testing: Perform basic API checks using tools like Postman and validate data using SQL queries.
- Defect Tracking: Find bugs, log them clearly in tracking tools like Jira, and re-test fixes.
- CI/CD Integration: Support basic pipeline runs and help integrate automated tests into continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Git.
- Team Collaboration: Work with developers and manual testers in Agile/Scrum teams to understand user stories and plan testing tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on software testing and test automation background.
- Programming: Good command of Java, C#, or Python.
- Automation Tools: Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, NUnit, or Cucumber (BDD).
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git for managing test code.
- Databases: Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data verification.
- Methodologies: Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Education:
- B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) or MCA (Master of Computer Applications) degree.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Gurgaon, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
