Job Summary
The Executive – Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities of the mall, ensuring smooth functioning of facilities, common areas, housekeeping, security, engineering services, parking, and tenant coordination. The role focuses on delivering a safe, clean, and customer-friendly environment while ensuring compliance with operational standards and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Mall Operations
- Monitor the day-to-day operations of the mall to ensure uninterrupted services.
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas, retail spaces, parking, and external premises.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, engineering, landscaping, and pest control teams.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies and service standards.
Tenant Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding operational issues.
- Coordinate tenant fit-outs, maintenance requests, and common area activities.
- Ensure compliance with mall operating guidelines and lease requirements.
- Resolve tenant complaints and operational concerns promptly.
Facility Management
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of MEP systems, elevators, escalators, DG sets, HVAC, fire protection, and utilities.
- Monitor service providers and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Ensure optimum functionality of building systems and common facilities.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and support emergency preparedness activities.
- Coordinate fire drills and emergency response procedures.
- Ensure statutory licenses and operational permits are valid and up to date.
Vendor Management
- Supervise outsourced service providers and contractors.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels.
- Verify work completion and recommend certification of vendor invoices.
Customer Service
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer experience.
- Address customer complaints and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Support promotional events and mall marketing activities from an operational perspective.
Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Maintain records of incidents, maintenance activities, inspections, and vendor performance.
- Report operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, Hospitality, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Facility Management or Safety is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in mall operations, commercial property management, facility management, or retail operations.
- Experience in coordinating multiple service providers and tenant operations is preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
