Job Purpose
To drive and expand the company's export yarn business by developing global markets, managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, achieving sales and profitability targets, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute export marketing strategies for cotton yarn, blended yarn, compact yarn, and specialty yarn products.
- Identify and develop new international customers, agents, and business opportunities.
- Expand market presence across existing and emerging export markets.
- Achieve sales growth, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer visits.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas customers and key accounts.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order finalization.
- Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Resolve customer concerns by coordinating with internal teams.
Sales Planning & Execution
- Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and budgets.
- Coordinate with production planning teams to ensure timely execution of orders.
- Monitor order status, shipment schedules, and delivery commitments.
- Ensure smooth execution of export documentation and compliance requirements.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
- Analyse global textile market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activities.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and customer requirements.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and market intelligence reports.
- Recommend strategies for business growth, market diversification, and customer acquisition.
Commercial & Operational Coordination
- Coordinate closely with production, quality, logistics, finance, and sourcing teams.
- Ensure alignment between sales commitments and production capacity.
- Monitor account profitability and contribution margins.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the export marketing team.
- Establish performance targets and monitor team effectiveness.
- Foster a customer-focused and performance-driven culture.
- Support talent development and succession planning initiatives.
Reporting & Governance
- Review sales performance, profitability, and market expansion reports.
- Provide MIS reports and business updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, international trade requirements, and company policies.
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of export yarn marketing and international textile markets.
- Good understanding of cotton yarn, blended yarn, compact yarn, and specialty yarn products.
- Strong business development and customer relationship management capabilities.
- Expertise in export sales, pricing, contract negotiation, and key account management.
- Knowledge of export procedures, logistics, documentation, and international trade regulations.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and MIS reporting.
Experience Requirement
- 8–25 years of experience in yarn export marketing.
- Proven experience in handling international customers and export markets.
- Strong network of overseas buyers and textile industry contacts preferred.
- Experience in business development, key account management, and market expansion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
- MBA in Marketing, International Business, or equivalent preferred.
- Additional certifications in Export Management or International Trade will be an added advantage.
Pay: Up to ₹150,000.00 per month
