Job Description
Casemurk is looking for a Research & Development (R&D) Intern to support our Product Development team in researching, evaluating and improving mobile accessories and consumer electronics products.
The ideal candidate should be curious, detail-oriented and passionate about smartphones, gadgets and new products. You will work closely with the product team to identify new product opportunities, analyse competitors, study customer feedback and assist in developing better products.
Responsibilities
- Research new products, trends, technologies and materials in mobile accessories.
- Conduct competitor research and analyse their products, features, pricing and customer reviews.
- Research and identify new product opportunities for Casemurk.
- Analyse customer reviews, complaints, returns and feedback to identify product improvement opportunities.
- Research suppliers and manufacturers and collect product specifications and pricing.
- Coordinate with suppliers for product information, samples and prototypes.
- Compare products and samples based on quality, features, design, functionality and cost.
- Maintain product research, supplier and sample databases using Google Sheets/Excel.
- Prepare product comparison and research reports.
- Assist in product testing and quality evaluation when samples are available.
- Suggest improvements to existing products.
- Support the team throughout the product development and launch process.
Requirements
- Fresher or 0–1 year of experience.
- Strong interest in smartphones, technology, gadgets and consumer products.
- Good internet research and analytical skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Interest in mobile cases, MagSafe, chargers and other tech accessories.
- Basic understanding of materials such as TPU, PC, silicone, magnets, etc.
- Previous experience in product research, e-commerce or D2C is a plus.
