Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator with a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering. Freshers are welcome to apply. The candidate will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting the bidding process for various civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects including buildings, roads, and infrastructure works.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope and requirements.
- Quantify materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.
- Support the senior estimation team in preparing bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost sheets.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to collect necessary data.
- Maintain records of historical project costs for reference and benchmarking.
- Assist in preparing tender submissions and proposals.
- Keep up-to-date with construction material rates and market trends.
- Ensure adherence to company standards, quality, and safety protocols.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Internship or exposure to construction projects or estimation work.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other design software.
- Understanding of IS codes and standard civil engineering specifications.
