Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Store Head / Stock Manager to oversee the complete inventory and store operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring timely material availability for production, supervising inward and outward material movement, and implementing efficient inventory control systems to prevent shortages, excess stock, and losses.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Manage the complete inventory of raw materials, consumables, finished goods, tools, and packing materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP system.
- Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock verification and physical inventory audits.
Material Inward & Outward
- Supervise receipt of incoming materials and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.
- Ensure proper documentation for Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
- Issue materials to production as per approved material requisitions.
- Monitor dispatch of finished goods and maintain dispatch records.
Stock Control
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO practices where applicable.
- Prevent stock shortages, overstocking, damage, and pilferage.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for all materials.
ERP & Documentation
- Update all stock transactions in the ERP system on a real-time basis.
- Maintain inventory reports, GRNs, stock registers, material issue slips, and stock transfer records.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase for timely procurement of materials.
- Work closely with Production to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Coordinate with Quality Control for inspection of incoming materials.
- Liaise with Dispatch and Accounts for smooth inventory and documentation processes.
Team Management
- Supervise store assistants, warehouse staff, and inventory personnel.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety standards.
Compliance & Safety
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe store areas.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all inventory.
- Follow safety guidelines for storage and material handling.
- Participate in internal and external inventory audits.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
- Recommend process improvements to reduce wastage and optimize storage space.
- Implement best practices for inventory management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in store management, warehouse management, or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, automotive, export, or industrial production.
- Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, ABC analysis, cycle counting, and warehouse management systems.
- Experience in handling raw materials, finished goods, and industrial consumables.
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday
- As per company working hours.
Salary
- As per company standards and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
