Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Construction Land Surveyor to support civil and infrastructure projects by providing accurate land and construction surveys. The role involves establishing site control, setting out structures, verifying construction layouts, and preparing survey reports to ensure projects are executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys for roads, buildings, bridges, drainage systems, pipelines, and other infrastructure works.
- Perform topographic, contour, boundary, and as-built surveys.
- Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference markers.
- Carry out setting out (layout) of foundations, columns, roads, utilities, and structural elements as per approved drawings.
- Verify dimensions, elevations, alignments, and coordinates throughout the construction process.
- Operate and maintain surveying instruments including Total Station, DGPS/GPS, Auto Level, Digital Level, and Laser Level.
- Process field data and prepare survey drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other survey software.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure work is executed according to approved plans and specifications.
- Prepare daily survey reports, field notes, and as-built documentation.
- Assist in quantity verification, earthwork calculations, and volume measurements.
- Ensure survey equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working condition.
- Comply with all company safety procedures and project quality standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Survey Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure surveying.
- Experience working on residential, commercial, industrial, highway, railway, or utility projects is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in operating:
- Total Station
- DGPS/GPS (RTK)
- Auto Level
- Digital Level
- Laser Level
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of coordinate systems, leveling, traversing, and construction layout techniques.
- Knowledge of earthwork calculations and quantity surveying support.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, survey plans, and specifications.

- Primarily field-based at construction sites with periodic office work.
- Frequent travel between project locations.
- May require overtime or weekend work to meet project schedules.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and active construction environments.
Pay: ₹12,514.82 - ₹40,040.00 per month
