Job Title: Optometrist – Opticals

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Optometrist to join our opticals team. The candidate will be responsible for performing eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and ensuring high-quality patient care within the optical retail setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
- Perform refraction and prescribe spectacles/contact lenses
- Handle optical dispensing and frame/lens selection guidance
- Operate diagnostic equipment (AR, NCT, etc.)
- Provide patient counselling on lens options and eye care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure smooth coordination with doctors and optical sales team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Optometry
- Minimum [1–2 / 1–3] years of experience in opticals/clinic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of optical products, lenses, and frames
- Customer-oriented approach
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in retail optical sales
- Basic knowledge of contact lens fitting
- Familiarity with EMR systems
Salary: As per industry standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
