Job Title: Production Supervisor (Fabrication)
Job Purpose:
The Production Supervisor (Fabrication) will be responsible for supervising daily production activities, managing a team of operators and welders, ensuring quality and timely delivery of fabricated components, and maintaining safety standards within the plant/workshop.
Experience Required: 3 – 8 years in production & heavy weight fabrication industry, commercial vehicle body building with hydraulic knowledge
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and execute daily fabrication production schedules.
- Allocate tasks to welders, fabricators, machine operators, and helpers.
- Ensure adherence to drawings, process specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with stores/purchase for requirements.
- Supervise welding, cutting, bending, fitting, and assembly processes.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer and company standards.
- Identify process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain production records, daily reports, and shift handovers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve production targets.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, bending, fitting, machining).
- commercial vehicle body building with hydraulic knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with production planning and resource allocation.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Basic knowledge of quality standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).
- Knowledge of safety protocols in fabrication workshops.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
