Key duties involve talent acquisition, policy implementation, legal compliance, employee development, and supporting leadership with strategic workforce planning to maintain a high-performing, compliant, and supportive environment for medical professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle hiring for clinical and non-clinical roles, including credentialing and onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Act as a liaison, resolve grievances, mediate disputes, and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Oversee appraisal systems, provide coaching, and support high-performance standards.
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer pay plans, benefits (health, retirement, leave), and wellness programs.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws (EEOC, FMLA, etc.) and healthcare-specific regulations.
- Training & Development: Identify needs and organize development programs for staff.
- HR Strategy: Partner with leadership on workforce planning and aligning HR with organizational goals.
- HR Systems: Maintain records, manage HRIS, and use data analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; relevant certifications (SHRM-CP/SCP) are a plus.
- Proven experience (often 7-10+ years) in HR, specifically within the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and healthcare regulations.
