Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Python Developer with 3–4 years of experience in Python, Django, and ERP application development, preferably in a SaaS product environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ERP solutions, building multi-tenant SaaS applications, and delivering robust backend systems with high performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ERP modules and features for SaaS-based products using Python and Django.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications following SaaS architecture principles.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal modules and third-party applications.
- Customize and enhance ERP functionalities based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and UI/UX designers to deliver product enhancements.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and system scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.
- Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with software development standards.
Required Skills
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong experience with the Django framework and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Experience in ERP development or ERP product customization.
- Experience working on SaaS-based products or multi-tenant applications.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Docker, Linux environments, and deployment processes.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with ERP platforms or custom ERP solutions is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP will be an added advantage.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture is a plus.
