Job description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Academy Development to lead and scale our admissions and sales operations across both B2C (Inside Sales) and B2B (Institutional/Corporate Partnerships) channels. This leadership role requires strategic oversight, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on execution to drive enrollment, build sustainable revenue pipelines, and enhance the academy’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute a growth strategy for student admissions and partnerships aligned with overall business objectives.
Own the entire sales funnel across B2C and B2B segments, ensuring lead-to-admission conversion optimization.
Forecast targets, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements.
Inside Sales (B2C)
Lead the inside sales/admissions team to maximize student enrollments.
Design and implement performance metrics and CRM-based workflows.
Train and mentor counselors on product knowledge, objection handling, and consultative selling.
Oversee lead generation, nurturing, and follow-up via calls, emails, and digital platforms.
Outside Sales (B2B)
Identify, approach, and build partnerships with schools, colleges, coaching centers, and corporates.
Pitch academy offerings tailored to partner needs; negotiate and close deals.
Represent the academy at education fairs, seminars, and networking events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the marketing team for targeted campaigns and brand positioning.
Collaborate with academic and operations teams to align offerings with market demand.
Team Management & Reporting
Build, train, and manage high-performing admission and sales teams.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, funnel health, and strategic recommendations.
Foster a results-oriented culture with accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
experience in sales leadership, with a strong mix of B2C and B2B experience—preferably in the education or edtech sector.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-growing startup or scaling business environment.
Familiarity with the Indian education ecosystem and regional market dynamics.
Multilingual abilities are a plus.
Timing : 9.00AM to 6.30 PM
Weekly off : sunday
