GENERAL MANAGER - PREMIUM JEWELLERY RETAIL

TT DEVASSY JEWELLERS is a reputed name in luxury jewellery, committed to offering exquisite gold, diamond, and precious stone collections.
The Role: We are seeking a seasoned General Manager (GM) with 8-10+ years of experience in high-end jewellery showroom management.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Profitability: Develop sales strategies, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates and average ticket size, and meet or exceed monthly/annual sales targets.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, compliance with store policies, health and safety regulations, and maintaining high security to prevent shrinkage.
- Inventory & Product Management: Manage high-value inventory, including stock replenishment, audits, and ensuring proper product display.
- Staff Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and motivate sales associates, offering coaching on product knowledge (jewellery/metals) and luxurious customer service standards.
- Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service, build loyal client relationships, and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain the showroom’s visual appeal, ensuring displays meet company guidelines and create a luxurious, inviting atmosphere.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience as a retail store General Manager, with significant experience in jewellery, luxury goods, or fine jewellery preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of inventory management, sales metrics, and gemology (a plus).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from IIM or similar is preferred.
