About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager – Tool Room to lead tool design, development, and maintenance activities in our sheet metal manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures, ensuring smooth production and high‑quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise tool room operations including tool design, development, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure availability and reliability of press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for production.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve tool‑related issues on press machines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, TPM).
- Maintain tool history records, calibration logs, and MIS reports.
- Train and guide tool room technicians and operators.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Engineering.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in sheet metal industry.
- Strong knowledge of press tools, progressive dies, compound dies, and sheet metal forming processes.
- Hands‑on experience with tool design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA preferred).
- Familiarity with mechanical & hydraulic press machines.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical expertise in tool design and maintenance.

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Kaizen.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
