Job Summary
ABODE School is seeking for a Hindi Teacher who is responsible for delivering engaging and effective Hindi language instruction to students in the Primary and Middle School. The teacher will foster language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while promoting an appreciation for Hindi literature, culture, and communication. The role involves creating an inclusive learning environment, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support students' overall development.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging Hindi lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Develop students' proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Encourage students to appreciate Hindi language, literature, and culture through interactive learning experiences.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
- Integrate creative teaching methods, educational technology, and hands-on activities to enhance learning.
Classroom Management
- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Establish clear classroom expectations and maintain effective discipline.
- Encourage active participation, collaboration, and confidence in language learning.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Student Assessment
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Evaluate assignments, projects, and examinations in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and performance.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress with parents.
Student Development
- Support students in developing effective communication and language skills.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide appropriate intervention.
- Encourage participation in literary activities, storytelling, debates, recitations, and cultural programmes.
School Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and interdisciplinary learning.
- Participate in school assemblies, celebrations, competitions, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development programmes, and training sessions.
- Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hindi or a related subject.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Hindi is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in Primary and/or Middle School.
- Experience with CBSE, Cambridge, or an integrated curriculum is an added advantage.
