Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and conducting classroom activities.
- Support students during lessons, activities, and group work.
- Provide individual attention and academic support to students when required.
- Help maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Assist in preparing worksheets, teaching aids, projects, and classroom resources.
- Monitor students' academic and behavioural progress.
- Support students who require additional guidance or assistance.
- Assist in conducting assessments, maintaining records, and completing documentation.
- Help organize classroom activities, celebrations, competitions, and school events.
- Communicate effectively with the lead teacher regarding students' progress and requirements.
- Maintain regular communication and coordination with parents when required.
- Ensure the classroom is organized, clean, and child-friendly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Good command of English and strong communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the lead teacher.
- Patient, caring, creative, and student-friendly approach.
- Basic computer and digital teaching skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with primary-age children.
- Knowledge of CBSE primary curriculum.
- Ability to conduct engaging activities using creative teaching methods.
- Strong teamwork, organization, and time-management skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Perambur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
