A Day in Your Life at MKS:

Administer and support enterprise engineering software applications throughout their operational lifecycle, including onboarding, access management, licensing, renewals, and user support coordination.

Maintain accurate records of engineering applications, software assets, vendors, support contacts, ownership information, and lifecycle status within enterprise repositories and systems of record.

Coordinate software licensing activities, subscription management, renewal tracking, maintenance agreements, and procurement-related activities to help ensure uninterrupted application availability.

Serve as a primary operational point of contact for engineering application vendors, coordinating routine communications, support requests, licensing inquiries, renewal activities, and service-related issues.

Support application onboarding and offboarding activities, including access provisioning coordination, user administration, communications, and documentation updates.

Partner with Engineering Services, Information Technology, Procurement, and business stakeholders to coordinate support activities, issue resolution, and operational process execution.

Maintain application documentation, knowledge articles, inventory records, software catalogs, and related operational materials.

Support Engineering Services reporting activities by collecting and maintaining information related to software usage, licensing, inventories, renewals, vendor relationships, and application portfolios.

Assist in establishing and supporting user communities for engineering applications through communications, awareness activities, training coordination, and adoption support.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on engineering application administration, software governance execution, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience.
-
2+ years of experience supporting software applications, business systems, engineering tools, software licensing, software asset administration, or related operational functions.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operational activities simultaneously.

Experience coordinating with software vendors, service providers, or external business partners.
-
Experience maintaining records, inventories, asset repositories, software catalogs, or operational documentation.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
-
Experience using Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
-
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Knowledge of engineering software environments, software licensing concepts, application administration, or software lifecycle management is preferred.

Experience supporting engineering software tools or technical business applications.
-
Experience working with software inventories, CMDBs, LeanIX, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise platforms.
-
Experience supporting globally distributed user communities.
-
Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, R&D, or product development environments.

Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time.

Regularly operates a computer and other standard office productivity equipment.

Work is primarily performed in a professional office or remote office environment.
