1. Achievement of 100% production plan (daily) with desired quality
2. Ensure complete adherence to Quality Management system e.g. IATF-16949 at all times and also ensure minimum non-conformities
3. Ensure WSS (Work station standardization) are framed, displayed and adherence by all operators
4. Ensure daily production report are filled and its review for losses if any
5. Daily co-ordination with purchase and stores departments to ensure no production loss due to material shortage
6. To ensure optimum utilization of manpower & machinery and extract targeted production
7. Minimise rejection, rework and customer complaints
8. Ensure immediate implementation of corrective actions arising out of internal and external complaints
9. Implement concepts like 5S, MSES, TPM , FMEA, VA/VE, TQM etc. in working systems to upgrade productivity, output quality and delivery
10. Implement single piece flow on line
11. Do line balancing to distinguish equal work load to operators
12. Carry out DOE for process optimisation and its sustenance
13. Do Kaizen activities to improve PQCDSM performance of line
14. Carry out regular training of subordinates to improve their skill
15. Identify & Reduce bottleneck cycle time operations to improve productivity
16. Adherence to preventive maintenance plan of machines/fixtures/equipments
17. Ensure installed safety measures are in good working condition to achieve Zero safety related incidences
18. Control and reduce consumable , labour and other overhead costs
19. Ensure shop floor discipline and safety to create healthy working culture
20. To create and maintain cordial labour - management relations.
