Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Design Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in instrumentation and control system design. The candidate will develop instrumentation layouts, P&IDs, control panel designs, and related engineering documentation.

- Develop 2D/3D Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom drawings.
- Prepare E&I equipment layouts, general arrangements, working drawings, cable tray layouts, and cable routing layouts.
- Use AutoCAD and REVIT to prepare plans, sections, elevations, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Review drawings for technical accuracy, project requirements, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Modify drawings based on client comments and engineering review comments.
- Provide technical support to site teams during design, engineering, and construction stages.
- Conduct site visits and prepare Red Line Mark-ups.
- Prepare As-Built drawings and documents.
- Perform interdisciplinary checks of Civil, Structural, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation drawings.
- Review vendor drawings for equipment and package items.
- Coordinate with Lead E&I Engineers and other disciplines to resolve design interfaces and technical issues.
- Support instrumentation and control system layouts, P&ID development, and control panel design.
- Promote safe working practices and maintain a strong safety culture at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical / Instrument or Electronics Engineering OR B. Tech relevant subject
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years relevant experience in an engineering design company as an Instrument and Controls Designer
- Knowledge of site-based project work involving field engineering and construction
- Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
- Previous experience of working in the Oil & Gas Upstream & Downstream projects would be an advantage
- Previous Onshore and Offshore Oil and Gas related Electrical and Instrument design experience
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Excel and Word
- Experience of 3D modelling using SP3D / PDMS/AVEVA would be an advantage

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
