Job Summary:
An Automobile Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. The technician performs mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs while following company and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacement, wheel alignment, and brake servicing.
Repair and replace defective parts including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical components.
Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests before and after repairs.
Maintain accurate service records and job cards.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures.
Assist customers by explaining repair requirements and maintenance recommendations.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma/ITI in Automobile Engineering, Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV), or a related field.
Relevant experience in automobile servicing and repairs.
Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures.
Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
Basic computer skills for service documentation.

Preferred Experience:
1–5 years of experience in an automobile dealership or service center.

Workshop/service center environment.
May require standing for long periods and lifting vehicle parts.
Ability to work flexible hours when required.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
