A Field Sales Executive- in a courier and logistics company drives business growth by acquiring corporate, SME, and e-commerce clients. They pitch supply chain solutions, negotiate shipping rates, and ensure long-term account retention while bridging on-the-ground operations with client needs.
Core Responsibilities
- Business Development: Prospect and onboard new B2B clients, D2C brands, or e-commerce vendors.
- Rate Negotiation: Prepare tailored logistics proposals and negotiate freight or courier rates.
- Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely issue resolution and service satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with dispatch, warehousing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth cargo movement.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: Typically 1 to 3 years of proven field or B2B sales experience in the courier, express, or 3PL (third-party logistics) industry.
- Skills: Strong communication, local route familiarity, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Requirements: Bike & A valid two-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the local region (e.g., Kolkata, Howrah, or adjoining industrial belts).
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
