We are seeking a results-driven BDR to manage and grow our presence on Upwork. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, crafting winning proposals, and converting leads into long-term clients.
Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork that match company services.
Write personalized, compelling proposals and cover letters.
Manage the Upwork profile/agency account, maintaining a strong Job Success Score and rankings.
Communicate with prospective clients to understand requirements and qualify leads.
Coordinate with delivery/technical teams to scope projects and prepare accurate quotes.
Conduct discovery calls and pitch services to convert prospects.
Track bids, response rates, and conversions; report on KPIs.
Build long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
1–3 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or sales (Upwork/Freelance platform experience strongly preferred).
Proven track record of winning bids and closing deals on Upwork.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong understanding of proposal writing and client psychology.
Familiarity with IT/software/digital services is a plus.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and organized.
Experience with other platforms (Fiverr, Freelancer, LinkedIn).
Knowledge of CRM tools and basic sales analytics.
