Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service & Hospitality: Welcome and seat guests warmly, present menus, and enthusiastically explain chef specials or daily promotions.
- Order Taking & Upselling: Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Answer ingredient questions and make personalized pairing recommendations to increase sales.
- Table Service: Deliver food dishes and beverages promptly at correct serving temperatures. Maintain attentive table maintenance by clearing empty plates, refilling water, and replacing cutlery throughout the meal.
- Mise-en-Place & Setup: Prepare the dining room before service hours by polishing glassware, folding napkins, setting up tables, and stocking service stations.
- Billing & Cash Handling: Process guest bills accurately, handle cash or card payments securely, and ensure any discounts or loyalty points are correctly applied.
- Hygiene & Compliance: Clean and sanitize tables, seating, and service stations continuously. Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and guidelines for the safe service of alcohol.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in F&B service within a restaurant, luxury hotel, or high-volume cafe. Fresh hospitality graduates with excellent communication skills are welcome.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with restaurant POS billing software, basic beverage terminology (wines, cocktails, mocktails), and professional tray-carrying techniques.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Food & Beverage Operations is highly preferred.
- Attributes: Outgoing and well-groomed personality, strong listening and verbal communication skills, and the physical stamina to stand and move quickly during long peak-volume shifts.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
