About the Role
We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and trend-savvy Social Media Manager to lead our brand's presence across all major social platforms. You will own the end-to-end social media strategy — from content planning and creation to community engagement, paid campaigns, and performance reporting. This is a full-time onsite role at our Digha, Patna office, ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media and wants to build a brand from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine the social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
- Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with brand goals, campaigns, and seasonal trends.
- Conceptualize and create engaging content — posts, reels, stories, carousels, short videos, and live sessions.
- Write strong, on-brand captions, hashtags, and copy that drives engagement and conversions.
- Design creatives using Canva or similar tools; coordinate with graphic designers and video editors when required.
- Run paid ad campaigns on Meta Ads Manager and other platforms — targeting, budgeting, A/B testing, and optimization.
- Manage community engagement — respond to comments, DMs, and reviews in a timely and brand-aligned manner.
- Identify and collaborate with local influencers, creators, and partners to expand brand reach.
- Track key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, CTR, conversions) and deliver weekly and monthly reports with insights.
- Stay updated on platform algorithm changes, trending formats, and competitor activity.
- Coordinate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to align social content with overall business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in managing brand or business social media accounts.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating content created, campaigns run, and growth delivered.
- Hands-on experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, and at least one analytics tool (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Rush, or similar).
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, formats (reels, shorts, carousels), and platform best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Must be based in Patna or willing to relocate; this is a full-time onsite role at our Digha office.
Good to Have
- Experience running paid Meta and Google Ads campaigns.
- Knowledge of SEO and basic graphic design principles.
- Experience working with regional / local audiences in Bihar.
- Existing network of local influencers and content creators.
