Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Operating Theatre: Lay out surgical instruments, sterilize equipment, and ensure all necessary supplies are available for procedures
- Assist Surgical Teams: Provide instruments and support to surgeons, nurses, and anaesthetists during operations
- Maintain Sterile Environment: Follow strict aseptic techniques to prevent infections and ensure patient safety
- Operate and Maintain Equipment: Handle anaesthesia machines, ventilators, C-ARM machines, and other surgical devices, ensuring they function correctly
- Patient Care Support: Monitor vital signs, assist in patient transfer, and support pre-operative and post-operative care
- Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain OT records, verify equipment, manage oxygen and suction supplies, and adhere to hospital protocols
- Cleaning and Sterilization: Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, and ready for subsequent procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Diploma or certification in Operation Theatre Technology or a related field; high school completion with science subjects is typically required
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and operation theatre equipment
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, teamwork, and effective communication
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or surgical setting is advantageous but not always mandatory
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
